Advantage Media Group is a newly formed Australian company focussed on the emerging field of digital content in the publishing industry. Currently Advantage Media retail eBook content and eBook readers online at www.ebookbop.com.au. Their next initiative is to provide services to assist publishers and authors to more easily feed their titles to online retailers across the globe.

We have assisted AMG by implementing their current retail store mentioned above (applying all our regular best practices of SEO, Lucene and incorporating our eCommerce framework). Since the conclusion of this project we have been researching current standards of Digital Rights Management in order to assist this customer with the next phase of their business strategy. 

Atari Asia Pacific

We provide Atari Australia with a wide range of services. These include: website hosting, J2EE services and website support. In August 2006 we completed a site redevelopment of the Atari Australia website. This involved re-working the look and feel of the site and adding a number of technical features

In 2006 & 2007 we have also implemented the Atari Singapore and Atari Taiwan sites. These sites where created using our skinning technology with look-and-feel across the 3 Asia Pacific sites (Australia, Singapore & Taiwan) being shared, however, content is region specific OR shared across regions. This allows Atari Asia Pacific to save on Content Management time, hosting costs and maintenance costs while all enjoy the rich array of features that the underlying J2EE framework provides.

Chris Bowen - Federal Member for Prospect - Minister for Human Services Minister for Financial Services, Superannuation and Corporate Law

We implemented a dynamic site for the Federal Member for the seat of Prospect. This site allows Chris Bowen and his staff to add their own content, review site usage and gather users views with the sites survey.  Overall, the website aims to help this Federal Member be more accessible to his constituents.

UPDATE June/July 2009

Chris Bowen requested Black & Hayden update the website with a modern design and add some interactive features. These features include a custom homepage with featured content slideshow, YouTube video integration and RSS feeds. Other site features include a blog with comment moderation, Lucene powered site search, newsletter sign-up and customised contact forms.

CWA of NSW

Migrsted the CWA website into our skinning technology and Content Management System. This now allows staff at the CWA to more easily update the vast amounts of information on their site.

In February 2008 the new look CWA of New South Wales website was launched. The visual update was focussed on making the site more user friendly with special features such as the ability for visitors to increase the font size to improve readability.

In July 2008 CWA launched the new members area of their website. Black & Hayden Consulting integrated their existing member database into our content management system so CWA could manage their website and their member database from the one location. BHC also added a members downloads section and custom forums to the members area of the website, all of which are managed through our content management system.

Multitask Consulting

We worked with the consulting firm Multitask to deliver a large showroom system for the automotive industry.

Update: June 2009 - Website redesign

Existing customer Multitask came to Black & Hayden Consulting for a website re-design to reflect a change in direction for their company. They required a more modern, product-centric website. Black & Hayden built the site around their two core products with each product section on the site having a different colour scheme to give the products their own identity. As with all our websites, our content management system was built into the site so Multitask could quickly and easily complete add content to the site.

North Shore Divorce Lawyers

North Shore Divorce Lawyers are a division of Sydney based Fox & Staniland Lawyers. Building on the success of their first website (Will Challenge Lawyers)and AdWords campaign, Fox & Staniland enlisted Black & Hayden Consulting to build another website utilising the same layout but targeting a different market - divorces and family law.

The Will Challenge Lawyers is a division of Sydney based Fox & Staniland Lawyers. Fox & Staniland required a content managed website to be built to target a specific market - the challenge of Wills. Black & Hayden were enlisted to create the site, working closeley with Fox & Staniland. Special features of the site include a large animated image banner built with javascript rather than Flash for increased search engine optimisation.

Watagan View Photographics is the result of Bren and Jude Weston's photographic travels around Australia. They were after an ecommerce website so they could sell photo products from their vast collection of Australian images.

Black & Hayden worked with Watagan View Photographics to develop a dynamic site that can handle a variety of product variants. Special features of the site include a dynamic map that pinpoints the location of the photo; an ajax price calculator and an animated product scroller on the homepage.

Once the site was built on Black and Hayden's development server, Watagan View Photographics added all their products, categories, prices and text content themselves.

XML Yes

XML Yes came to BHC looking to build a prototype B2B messaging system that could interact with XML Yes' existing system architecture. BHC designed a slick easy to use interface for XMLYes to use as a prototype for demonstration purposes.
